I had a pair of rare boots that my father would no longer wear and that can longer be found. I had no clue how I could get these boots customized to my size and to the way I like to wear boots. I looked up several different boot makers and came across Tejas Custom Boots. I reached out to Chris Ligget to see if he could do the job I was looking for and he said sure, no problem. I met up with Chris one day to hand my boots off and for him to get my measurements.

Chris is very professional and pays close attention to detail. There were several modifications that I wanted done to the boots, for instance, squaring the toe off and lowering the heel a bit, he advised that he felt it could be done and if not that he would call before tearing the boot down. He called or texted several times throughout the duration to let me know that he hadn't forgot about me and assured he was working on the boots. Communication is key, and he nailed it. I received a call that my boots were complete in less time than what he originally quoted me.

I am very pleased with job that was done and absolutely love being able to wear the boots my father happen to buy 44 years old, a year after I was born. I highly recommend Tejas Custom Boot Company for all your boot needs.

Happy customer... I will definitely be taking more boots their way.

I picked up my boots up on a Friday and wore them out of the shop. To say I am pleased is a substantial understatement. Chris and Jen made the entire experience both educational and very enjoyable. In the end I got an amazingly comfortable great looking pair of custom boots. Thank you Tejas Custom Boots! I will be back soon!

Thank you Chris and Jen! I love my new black gator boots. This is my second pair from Tejas Custom Boots and the craftsmanship is world class. By far the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned. I live in the Northeast where boots are not common and I have received nothing but compliments from everyone who sees them.

Chris and Jen are great people who could not be more helpful. There were in constant contact with me during the process of putting the boots together, sending me pictures and updates. This was my first purchase from these "new" owners of the store and the experience was one other small businesses should strive to provide.

I cannot recommend Tejas Custom Boots highly enough. They are making Christmas gifts for family members now and I plan to continue to bring them my business for all my custom leather/skin needs -- they can literally fabricate anything.

Beautiful craftsmanship. I own several pairs of "off the shelf" cowboy boots. This was my first pair of custom boots. There were so many options, but Chris was great to work with and guided me to a boot that met my needs. I wanted something understated, but was distinctly mine. Chris absolutely nailed it. I'm looking forward to creating the next pair.

Lisa's hearts desire was to have custom boots made. She had the design in her head for 20 years. Two years ago at Christmas, I told her that we were doing it and I knew just where to go. Tejas Custom Boots did a beautiful job. It takes a while but the wait is WORTH IT!! Lisa wears them all the time. She gets compliments wherever she goes and people always want to take pictures of her boots. In the first picture, she is standing in front of the Alamo. What's not in the picture is people going crazy over her boots. Give Chris a call -- he'll do you right.
