Silloth Sunday Market is held at the old Airport which was quite active during WW11,
Just a few minutes from the Center of Silloth Town. It’s a real go to place for a fun browse around looking for some interesting bits and bobs,
Fruit Vegetables Eggs Butchers Van, Flowers Plants Coffee Sandwiches Cakes.
Not to mention lots of fun conversations with the local Cumbrian’s.

Cumbria is definitely not the county if Car Boots are your thing, but this is definitely the best I've been too! Good atmosphere with friendly sellers, reasonable prices and a good range of stuff plus some food stores too. Bacon rolls, decent coffee and donuts all available on site and toilets as well! Entrance road and parking lot a bit lumpy, but plenty of spaces. £1 to get in and plenty to see to make it worthwhile..

Don't go here unless you want to part with your hard earned money and come back with a car full of interesting stuff. It's massive and it will take you all day to walk around all the stalls. Amazing food there was even entertainment

I recently attended the Silloth car boot sale on both Sunday and bank holiday Monday, and I must say that I had a fantastic time. The admission fee was only one pound, and children were allowed in for free, which was a great value. The people running the event were incredibly friendly, and I felt welcome from the moment I arrived.

The range of stalls was impressive, with everything from tombola to fresh food available. I was particularly impressed by the selection of cheap trainers, which were great quality and a real bargain. Overall, the prices were very reasonable, and I managed to find some real gems that I wouldn't have found elsewhere.

One of the things I appreciated most about the Silloth car boot sale was the sense of community. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and I felt like I was part of something special. It was clear that people come from all over to attend this event, and I can see why.

In conclusion, I highly recommend the Silloth car boot sale to anyone looking for a fun day out with friends or family. The admission fee is affordable, and the range of stalls is impressive. Plus, the friendly people and community spirit make it a truly special event.

18.08.2024...not as big as I thought it might be, but it was a lovely day and we picked up a few bargains. Paid £1 to get in. It's quite windy being on an old airfield and the access is very bumpy, so watch it if your vehicle is low! Parking was easy.

Parking the car was a bit hectic, everyone dashing here and there after parking spaces! The market wasn't as large as we thought it would be, we were disappointed. But I suppose it only attracts large numbers of stall owners in the Holiday season. I did buy a few potted herbs and veg .

Various stalls include veg, meat, cakes, shoes, other businesses as well as individual sellers. You can definitely find yourself a bargain.
Only but a massive downside are gigantic potholes to get there once you are off the main road. The organisers should do something about them as they are not safe in my view.

I font think they should charge the£1.00 per person entry. The market is still worth going to as there is a great variety of stalls.
