I recently paid $100 for a sole replacement, but on the second day of wearing the shoes, the bottom ripped off while I was walking. For $100, this is unacceptable and shows very poor workmanship. I was almost left without shoes on my way home, but luckily, a shoe repair store was nearby. Otherwise, I would have been barefoot in Queens with an hour-long commute ahead. It's highly irresponsible for their team to release shoes in such a condition.

Brought in a watch that was presumed broken. Alex - the owner, magically fixed the mechanism, replaced the battery and shortened the band in a mere 30 minutes.

I left with a practically brand new watch and a great recommendation for a japanese restaurant nearby.

My wife left a jacket and a boot to be repaired. The jacket’s zíper had an antique brass color, and they changed for a gold antique zipper. They don’t match anymore even though they guaranteed the zipper’s color would be similar.
The boot’s work is a joke, I will attach a photo so you can judge on your own. It seems like a dog took a bite, can’t even explain how this happened.

Don’t waste your time and money here. Very poor quality and quite unbelievable that they felt ok in charging $40 for such sloppy work.

They do good work, but this business is exasperating. When I dropped off some things I needed fixed last week, I specifically asked if they would be open on a certain Friday for pickup, and I was told yes. Cut to Friday 10/18: I show up at 3:15 to pick up my order, but the shop is closed, with the note on the door saying that they would reopen on Monday. I needed these items for a six-week trip I’m about to leave for! Incredibly frustrating.

I prefer to support local and independent businesses, but it’s a struggle when places don’t operate on dependable hours.

The replacement zipper on my thick canvas duffel bag is indistinguishable from the original. This is truly excellent work that only took a few days, and I’m so grateful I can continue using my bag for years to come.

I got boots resoled here a few months ago for $80. This is more than I've ever paid to get boots resoled, but I went for it anyway. When they were returned to me, I was assured that the soles would last me a lifetime. Unfortunately, less than six months later, the soles are coming off again. The people who work here are very nice, but the work that they do on boots is just not satisfactory. I'm not sure if they rushed through it or what, but I did not receive what I paid for.
