Great team and experience. We went in and the owner is a cut and dry kinda guy but tbh that made the experience even better he wants to know EXACTLY what you want and show you it without beating around the bush and we appreciated that! Teri in financing was super sweet and made that end of the deal easy and simple. They were super diligent in showing us all the bells and whistles before we drove off the lot with our boat (2015 Harris)
We were told a Bimini canvas on the boat was damaged but that they would send directly to us as soon as it came in at no cost in 2 weeks it took about a week longer (which hey things happen so we understood) emailed them for an update on the canvas and received an response with an update and received it a day or so later.
My husband and I Highly recommend this shop!

Bought our boat from Mark Semper of Semper Marine several years ago. We have continued to enjoy this boat greatly. Recently I needed help in determining the position of some electrical wires after a performing a battery change-out. Mark was very patient with me and explained what was needed. Everything worked out great! Can't thank the Semper Marine staff enough for their parts & maintenance services which they have provided over the years to keep our boat looking like new.

Attached are 3 photos taken at Millerton Lake during a period in which the lake was very calm; creating conditions ideal for the lake to provide a mirror image of it's surroundings. The boat felt like it was flying over the lake. It was a great enjoyable experience.

I want to start off saying that I am happy with the overall product. The service I received before I bought my boat was great. Afterwards, however, it declined dramatically. I was told at the time of purchase that I would receive; 3 vests, a flotation throw, and a fire extinguisher with my boat. I was also told that they would install the seats and Bimini top. At the time of pick up I was told I had to install my seats and that a fire extinguisher was not included. After some discussion, one of the higher ups authorized the extinguisher but I was still on my own for the seats, and told the top was going to be delayed by up to a month. After 6 weeks I called Teri about the top. She told me that the frame came in but not the canvas and she was going to check on the canvas and call me back. After 3 or 4 more weeks I called Teri again to inquire about my Bimini top. She told me the parts department should have called me but went again to go check, leaving me with the expectation that she was going to call me back this time.

A few weeks later I stopped by Semper on my way home from a business trip. I asked Teri about my top once again, explaining that I had given up calling about it because I never receive a return call. I was originally told I could drop my boat off any time and return to pick it up a week later. I explained this was not good for me because I live almost 3 hours away in good traffic conditions, we settled on a return date for me to get the top installed. She also, once again, said she would call me later about some potential compensation for the lack of communication and customer service. The day before I was to bring my boat in for installation I got a call from the service tech, confirming the drop off and once again saying I could pick it up the following week. I explained that Teri told me I could get same day installation. He told me he would call me back because the day planned for drop off, they do not usually have installers on staff.

This was the first time I received a call back since the purchase was completed, and the first bit of customer service as well. The last complaint is all the greasy markings on the canvas for my top, idk if it was an installer not happy working the extra day or just a general irritation that I had the audacity to expect my top install same day as drop off. When I was told of the delay of my top upon first pick up of my boat, I asked about same day install due to the drive and inconvenience it was and was told it would be a nonissue. Ever since the purchase was complete though, I have felt like nothing more than an annoyance.

As mentioned before, customer service was good prior to picking up my boat. I would recommend that anyone thinking of purchasing from Semper make sure everything has been received, is ready, and installed prior to pick up. I was prepared to offer 3 stars, primarily due to the early customer service until I saw the grease stains on my new Bimini top.

Between the owner, Mark, Josh in service, and Teri in financing, all my questions were answered quickly and they made me feel appreciated. Working with Mark Semper and his entire team was a Great Experience. There was absolutely no pressure to do any upgrades or to purchase anything else. I have never owned a boat, and Mark and Josh made it easy to lose the nerves we had. Not only did we take our new boat on the lake the next day, Mark checked in with me to see how it all went. I would definitely recommend Semper Speed & Marine for all of your boating needs!!

Mark and his staff are incredible! Buying my boat was a wonderful experience. Mark was patient, he was no pressure and he answered all of my questions. When I went to pick my boat up today his staff provided me with excellent customer service! Conner went through every inch of my boat with me to make sure everything was in tip top shape. The staff were amazing! Mark and Jason were so helpful. Us being new owners of a pontoon they guide us and made us feel comfortable leaving with our boat.. With only a few more good days of summer boating left, reached out to SS&M with an urgent repair...received a prompt response, a two day turn around to replace 3 major components on our boat, excellent and professional service. Mark Semper and his staff did outstanding work.
