So my husband is retiring from the Sugar Land fire department after 32 years of service. I wanted something extra special to commemorate his time at SL. I randomly called Republic Boot Co. to ask about what they offered. Jake answered the phone. From the moment he answered the phone, he was so kind, informative and patient with all of the questions I was asking. I wanted to order these boots sooner than later. Long story short, Jake came into assist us on his day off because after talking with him on the phone and loving his personality over the phone, I only wanted to buy the boots from him. It was a great decision on my part. Jake was FABULOUS! He made the custom retirement boot making process a memorable one! He helped us every step of the way. He never pushed his personal preferences on us but instead simply offered options and ideas. He always had a cold beer in my husband’s hand during the process.
