Handy little car boot being under cover, with our great British weather is a plus. You just never know what you'll find in those pens, but it is a bit like a maze to be honest, you start going one way and end up missing what you were heading for. But it all part of the fun lol.
Not exactly among the best car boots I've been to, but on the other hand, a real hard standing carpark, a real toilet block and good ground to walk on, for your £2 entrance fee ain't bad at all.
Check it out if in the area, its worth a look and potentially could be a very good one with all the space, on the right day.

We very much appreciated the 10am start and the fact that buyers aren't allowed in until then. This and Corbridge are the most expensive boot fair entry prices we've ever encountered - £5 for an early start. Maybe that's normal for up north. However, it was well worth it, and we picked up lots of bric-a-brac at very reasonable prices.

A shout out too for the excellent food in the cafetaria with a wide choice of traditional dishes.

As a buyer, it is expensive to get in 5 pounds between 10 and 11. 2.5 after , you pay for you child as well if he is above age 10, I think half price, which is still pretty expensive. The car boot sale is moderately big, but the stuff is not great and pretty expensive, can't bargain. So paying so much to get out with nothing or just 1 or two things would have caused less to buy in a charity. Just not worth it. Or also ques to get in. Just not a nice vibe. It didn't used to be that way. Definitely not coming back, there are other flea markets to gp to

Very disappointed this year round.

Someone told me they have started charging for kids! £1 for 11 and 12 year olds! Why? They never used to.

Then the rudeness of the old woman who demands the fee. Went 2-3 times this time but won't go back unless absolutely need to. Also rude sellers who think they're selling for Harrods!!

£5 entry for stalls only with traders selling overpriced and expensive stuff most of them non working, broken or something missing. Yesterday bought 2 electronics both don't work. Is it worth it? Never again there is better in the area with genuine people selling for themselves not traders to say on Ebay is £20 I will sell to you for £15 yeah on Ebay you have protection

The most disgusting place i have been too management are so rude and all my new stuff got completely ruined even though it said it was going to rain they still put you outside when spoken to management i was told is there anything i dont moan about and told me he doesnt want to talk to me and walked off disgusting AVOID over priced stalls and entry

Ok for a trip out on a nice day when its usually busy and lots of sellers outside, but if it rains goes inside cattle stalls. Cafe for food is good also there is a burger van.
