Wouldn't give me the time of day. Pointed me to their showroom and couldn't answer any questions about their products. All the steel toe boots they have shown have mesh linings, and while they claim a good year welt, it looks like they're cemented, stitching is for show.

Some of their other boots look to be decent quality with leather lining. But it's unknown if they come in a safety toe. But I wouldn't buy them directly from them. Buy them from a retailer that knows the product.

I’ve owned and used a pair of Boondockers for 5 years, and they’re the best boot I own. They’ve held up great and will no doubt last many more years. I like them so much I bought another pair in a different color and the quality is just as good. I also bought the steel toe moc toe wedge, and have thoroughly enjoyed them, especially since they don’t have a bulky steel toe look like many other steel toes do. I appreciate that they are made in the USA and I will continue to buy and recommend Golden Fox Boots.

I didn't know what to expect, because there wasn't much signage out front. The experience was painless, however. They had a dozen or so steel toed boots (which is what I needed for this particular job I was starting) and they were quite comfortable (which for the most part aren't a great shoe to walk around in). I am totally satisfied with my purchase.

My husband loves this brand of boots. The boots themselves are great. The problem I have is with costumer service. I bought my husband a pair of boots with a Black Friday deal. Unfortunately they were too big. The company did not refund me yet, and when I bought a different size they said they could not honer the Black Friday price or pay for shipping to return the boots. I am disappointed with their costumer service. I worked retail for a long time and exchanges always honored the sale price! I’m disappointed and will be looking for other brands.

I must say, you'll be hard pressed to beat Fox boots for the price. The Boondocker's can sometimes be had for a $100. Sure, they're made in "communist" China (as another reviewer noted), but it's a good quality, $100 service boot. You're looking to pay nearly three to fives times more for an American made variant. Thursday's Vanguard probably being the cheapest at $265. Fox does make a few American made boots too, and even those are cheaper priced than some competitors. I digress, these boots are a steal IMHO.

Pros:
• Handsome and comfortable.
• Nice high arch support.

Cons:
• Sizing runs way too big; order a full size smaller than normal.
• Welt stitching is plastic.
• No fast-lace hooks at top of boot.
• Like every company in anti-business state of CA, products are proudly made in communist China.

Songs and Bongs

Small out of the way location but great for getting in and out with what you're looking for! They have a great selection of boots and shoes and great customer service. Great growing company and the shoes are pretty comfy as well as stylish. Have yet to break in the boots enough to leave a detailed review but so far they're aight lol.

Before i found this place i was a Diehard boots from Sears customer. I went on you tube and somehow i found a video on the golden fox boots, i looked em up and lo and behold their in Ontario.....ill be there tomorrow. I bought a pair of boots right around the time this co-vid 19 started these boots are thee most comfortable boots i ve ever owned, i love the leather way better than the Die hards never going back to them. I highly recommend these
