I booked a reservation with Kevin Zimmerman and everything was finalized. Couple days before reserved date he called and asked if I could shift my time to 1200 vice 1300. I replied I couldn't based on plans I already had for my daughter's college graduation request. The day of, a couple hours prior to slated time, he canceled. His reason was because I didn't have a boat license and San Diego police department was enforcing it. A boat license is not needed for vessels under 25ft, his boat is a 19ft powerjet. All that is needed is drivers license/ID Card.

I was able to contact a local boat company who requires drivers license/ID and was able to salvage my daughter's request for a fun day with the family. Would not recommend Kevin or Water sports LLC ever again. Hopefully GetmyBoat holds him accountable.

This was an amazing experience from beginning to end. Everyone at GetMyBoat were extremely helpful, and courteous. It was a seamless experience. I will definitely be using this company again and I will definitely be using Romancing the Wind as the choice for sailing in San Diego. The whole experience made my mother's 80th Birthday very very special!

GetMyBoat was such an easy site to use! The crew in San Diego was so helpful and quick to respond. We all had such a wonderful time on the boat and wish we had reserved it for the whole day because it was so awesome! I would definitely recommend GetMyBoat and specifically Captain Paul’s Boat Club to anyone traveling to SD!

So. Much. Fun!!! We rented the pontoon boat and had Captain Paul take us around downtown, Coronado bridge, the midway, and stopped off at restaurant/bars along the way for drinks. Paul listened to our requests and did exactly what we wanted in taking us to all these places. He was fun and easy to communicate with before and during the trip. I highly recommend renting from him. We definitely will again!

We had such an amazing time. Booking and finding the boat was so easy. We felt safe and secure on the boat while our driver was extremely attentive. We also appreciated all the advice on other things to do in the area. We 100% recommend this to anyone.
