1 MONTH LATER AND GOT SCAMMED
…absolute morons at this place. $5 discount paid $75 for them to lose my laces in $2500 worth of 2 pairs of shoes. 1 month late. Dirty and SOGGY. They smell so bad. They offered $5 off and 1 pair of “free” laces that were $1 laces from China. Check the photos. The manager is an absolute joke. No one should ever go here in their entire life. They’re a mess. Absolute trash of an establishment and I never ever ever had said that about any place. Super disorganized. Horrific. What a nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is strictly my opinion, if you want to risk your money here go for it but look at the OTHER 1 star reviews too.

This was one of the WORST experiences I’ve ever had. Dropped off my shoe for a simple strap repair. Said it would take 8-10 business days. Not only did it take 2 months but I had to go in multiple times to check on my order. When I went to pick it up it wasn’t even fixed. Then the employee who I had been speaking with for the past month, simply put some glue on it and made me pay 30 dollars. Terrible service. Continued to waste my time and still made me pay claiming it’s a “fair price” for what some glue I could do at home? I will never be going back here and will not recommend to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Tony was SO helpful!!! He quickly found a creative solution to restore a pair of my grandma’s boots. He was friendly, considerate, and informed me of ways to take care of my shoes in the future. I’m so glad I brought my shoes to Cobblestone, thanks Tony!

I was scammed/misled to believe that they would repair my suitcase in a fair transaction. Unfortunately, upon already paying about $40 to fix a simple case of missing zippers, they added one zipper and called it a day. Now you might be wondering, how will someone travel anywhere with a suitcase that cannot lock because it has one zipper? I wish that these guys had the intellect to figure that out or maybe it’s just a predatory practice that purposefully omits things to seem innocent and take advantage of you

I have to be honest, I had high expectations for this place considering all the positive reviews it has. Definitely not the case for my experience whatsoever. They were given a simple task to align the bottom portion of my shoes, and do a simple glue. Mission failed. They literally just threw some glue on my shoes without caring to align them properly. Had to send my shoes back to attempt to get them fixed after the first attempt. Failure, came back the same, like they were never touched. Then I waited two weeks, weekends not included and never got contacted. Literally went in and my shoe was just sitting there. This is very disappointing considering I’ve only worn these shoes 3 times. Now they have glue everywhere on them. And to be honest I don’t know how the manger is still there he knows nothing about shoes, and seems like his elevator doesn’t go all the way up. Cobblestone do better. It’s not that complicated to accommodate paying customers. Also get your store manager some customer service training. Doesn’t seem to really care about mistakes made and has a nonchalant response to everything. I’m certain over time the star rating at this place will go down tremendously. Good luck to anyone bringing shoes here. Pay attention to all the other bad reviews. You’ve been warned ‍♂️. God speed ✌?

Brought my husband’s boots in for a face lift and they look great! Dropped them off December 15th and they were ready for me by January 21st. Great customer service. I dropped off two more pairs at pickup. Keep up the good work!

I chose this location because of the practically 600 seemingly-great Google reviews. However, given my experience today, it makes me wonder how many of these "great" reviews are actually authentic. I also noticed that another review site seems more accurate. I brought my spinner luggage in last month for a zipper repair. Fidel told me that they could have a stopper placed in the damaged area; which would resolve the issue. Two weeks later, I picked up my spinner luggage. I saw that a small, black plastic stopper had been placed over the damaged area, and I was fine with that. All seemed well. Earlier this month, when I took my first trip out of town, the stopper popped off. I called the location and left a voice mail message, and to date, no one ever returned my call. Today, I took the spinner luggage back in to the store, and this is when my horrific experience began. The male behind the counter was very rude, and unprofessional. He told me that "they" did not put a stopper on my spinner luggage. And he went on to say that it would not have been black. So, I was being dishonest? I proceeded to tell him the facts, that they had indeed placed a stopper on my spinner luggage, and the color was black. He told me, numerous times, that he was not going to "argue" with me. I asked for the Manager, and to my dismay, he, was the Manager. This is NOT good. No employee should conduct himself in this manner, let alone a Manager. This is a perfect example that being in a leadership role, doesn't make one a leader. I also gave him my ticket number, and he could not find my ticket. Had he found the ticket, he would have seen the word STOPPER, and everything that Fidel wrote, on the initial ticket. Going forward, I will do what I have started doing, with all businesses, go to the 1 and 2 star reviews. Oftentimes, we can learn a lot from those reviews. It was not surprising to me, that the less-than-stellar reviews, echoed my sentiments. Customers are the reason that Cobblestone Shoe Hospital is in business, and we will be the reason that they stay in business. I hope the owner fixes these disturbing issues. Great customer service matters. And, so does great leadership.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Do not ever go here, I made the mistake of taking a vintage leather belt here that I got on Etsy that was too big, to get made smaller. Dropped it off with Ike and went over the measurements of the belt, waiting weeks for it to be done without hearing from them on an update when finally I just went in to check on it. When I went in, it was another gentleman working other than Ike, but the belt was ready and I tried it on and it was way smaller than I instructed. I asked what could be done to remedy the situation and he said either I would have to pay for a new leather strap to replace THEIR mess up, or they would add back on the leather piece they took off, but there would be a noticeable seam. I told the guy to leave a note for Ike and before anything gets done to the belt, to have him call me to discuss next steps and Ike never called me. Months later I finally call and speak to Ike and he said the "belt was done." I kindly asked him how it could be done when I specifically asked for a call back before proceeding. Long story short, they refused to give me a reimbursement for the belt and I went in yesterday to pick it up and it was still too small and the seem was horribly noticeable. Ike said the seam would be concealed but when I tried it on at home with jeans it was on the side of the belt that a belt loop could not cover. When I was in the store explaining my frustrations, Ike called me a "SOUR APPLE" and was still trying to charge me for the belt repair. Overall, no one deserves to get treated the way I was and spoken to that way when it was their mess up to begin with. So now I have a damaged belt and will probably just donate. In summary, STAY AWAY from this place.
