These guys are just so excellent. My fave new boat hire company in sydney, after a fabulous hire in early January. The boats are stunning, all well cared for and this team are absolute pros at getting you on the water, safely and surely. There is plenty of parking at their meeting point and the cruise up from the jetty is a perfect warm up before you hit Sydney Harbour. Please be cautious of previous negative reviews on here. Whilst you don’t need a licence to hire many of these vessels, you still need to be very cautious and careful on the water at all times. We did just that, followed all instructions and had nothing but a fabulous, smooth, stress-free day. One other handy note to share, remember to bring a physical credit card for your deposit. We are so used to tapping everything for phone payment these days, that we were lucky one of us had a physical credit card on us. They do mention this beforehand, but a complete oversight at our end. Fab day, fab experience, fab people. We will be back. Many times across 2022 for sure! Thank you so much guys.

Hired a boat yesterday, what a great experience. The staff briefed me on how to use the boat safely. This is the second time i have hired a boat from CCA. The boat was clean and had plenty of room for the family. Cant wait until next time.

Amazing trip
It was a wonderful trip. We planned to go out for boating. I booked via the website. Booking was interactive, nice and easy.
I met Joe and Emma who guided us, gave us excellent tips to use the boat including some Dos and Don’ts. They explained regarding the safety and security. They are boating professionals and their services were exemplary. In short, Boat was great, Services were good and we enjoyed the experience.
Highly recommended!!!

The boat was well maintained, very comfortable, and exceptionally well designed for a day out on Sydney harbour. It was a well spent day! Check in was quick and professional, boat was clean and ready to go, and they were very helpful when we forgot an essential item on board.

WARNING: UNSAFE. DO NOT HIRE PONTOON.
This company and its owner have no care or concern for safety, wellbeing or customer satisfaction.
On the way out on Sydney harbour water was gushing in and out of the back. But on the way back as winds picked up we contacted the owner and expressed our high concern for safety and suitability of the boat.
He advised us to drive it back regardless of our wind speeds concerns. On the way back the water was rough due to high winds. Water gushed in the boat neck high on the front passenger, the engine was out of the water and one of the seats and personal belongings were washed out from the top of the boat.
We responsibly took the boat to the nearest Jetty and advised them so. Their only concern and series of questions was "(and I quote) "WHERE’S THE SEAT?"!!!! They left us to find our way back to our cars and pick up the traumatised passengers.
6 Days after the incident (and after the bond was released as advised by our bank) they notified us of "damages". As we disputed the damages and expressed our concern regarding the boat suitability, the owner’s initial response was aggressive and abusive (quote " This boat is suitable but not for PEOPLE LIKE YOU"… which I can only assume is racially motivated as I have had no prior interactions and he has no other information about me.) They then charged the credit card without my approval for the "damages".
The so called "biscuiting" on this boat was like towing your kids with your hand at the beach (the engine has hardly any power to propel the boat with the specified capacity let alone tow anything)
The so-called BBQ on board is a heap of old rusted metal (could not be used as it was disgusting to say the least).
The boat is old, warn out (unlike its misleading website description "Luxury") and unsuitable for the body of water (as described by other professional boating companies and our near-death experience).
NOTE: The company hires the same boat also as a “no license required” in the same body of water!!!! DANGEROUS and IRRESPONSIBLE.

My name is Phong Cao.
I booked for 10th August 2019.
My booking was cancelled and I was refused a refund.
I do not want to reschedule or receive a voucher to go another date.
The owner was extremely rude and I do not want to use their services.
Their Terms and Conditions were vague in regards to Cancellations and Refund policy, Compare to other boat hire companies.
Full payment is also needed upon booking with a ridiculous "No Refund" Policy that is unlawful and not stated anywhere on their Terms and left to interpretation by the Owner.
You are never gonna get your money back under any circumstances.
The owner (Joe) yelled over me on the phone and did not let me speak, he was unprofessional with handling this matter and made derogatory comments towards me.
A formal complaint letter was emailed stating the issue I was having and the legal actions I will take if not resolved.
Joe called me back and challenged me to proceed with my complaint to NSW Fair Trading and ACCC.
I am still awaiting my refund for a service that was paid for and has not been used.
They have $607 of my money.
I do not want to reschedule and do further business with this company because of the way they have treated me.
As a paying customer I an entitled to write a review based on the experience I had.
This negative review will remain until I get my money back.
I am not rebooking and giving you more of my hard earned money.

First time using this company but definately won’t be the last! My friends and I hired the pontoon (no licence required) for 8 hours and made it all the way up to Watsons Bay/Vaucluse and back with a few stops along the way for some swimming.
Affordable, great customer service, easy booking system and we had all the information we needed.
I’ve recently got my boat licence, so next time will hire the ‘other’ pontoon that requires a licence as it goes faster.

I rented a boat from CCA boat hire on Boxing Day recently. We were 15 mins late and Joe was being a sport for being patience for our first boating trip.

He ran through all terminology, health and safety. Im more confident for my next boating trip and will go for a faster ride next time.
