We rented the 22ft Regal for our week adventures and it was a perfect size boat. Captain Jamie and Sam made the experience so seamless. Captain Sam's navigation course was beyond priceless. After his tutorial I had the confidence to navigate any waterway. They strive on safety and it shows. Highly recommend!!

We were extremely pleased with the quality and service of Captain Mannis and Captain Doug in particular. Having been a past boat owner back home on smaller lakes, I was admittedly intimidated by larger coastal waterways. The 2hr mandatory training from Capt. Doug put my mind at ease making the rental more fun for our entire family! The boat was clean and in great condition and performed very well.

This is a very well run operation. We were taken care of by Jamie. He was very thorough with orientation and then rode with us to our dock. By the end of orientation, we were very comfortable with the boat and the waterway. Apparently we picked out one of the older boats but we could not tell because of how good of condition it was in. Prices were extremely reasonable compared to what I was expecting. It was a breath of fresh air experiencing top notch service.

We rented a boat from Captain Jamie in December (2023) and had a blast. I highly recommend renting a boat from him to give your vacation extra special memories. He gave a thorough orientation of using the boat and more importantly the navigation and boating etiquette of travelling the canals, river, intracoastal, and surrounding waters. Plenty of maps were provided but the onboard gps was the best tool you were in the right place, with enough water depth. We loved travelling to Sanibel Island, seeing the lighthouse from the water, and lots of dolphins! So many possible places and islands to explore via boat, that you can't access otherwise. The 24' Hurricane worked perfectly.
Word of advice, when vacationing in Cape Coral while renting boats from Jamie, find a house on the canal that's not too far from accessing the Caloosahatchee River. Ours wasn't far, but you have to travel the canals at limited throttle. Looked at other places in SW Cape Coral that were beyond the Chiquita Lock and would take much longer to access the river.
Tourism business is still reduced in the Cape Coral area since the hurricane. I'm sure Captain Jamie and all the local businesses would appreciate your patronage. Most or all the places are open in Cape Coral. On Sanibel there is still much housing reconstruction happening but the parks, beaches, shops, and restaurants are open.

Excellent experience with Captain Mannis. Captain Doug, who gave us our introduction, tour, and "lessons" was amazing, can't say enough good about him. The overall experience with the company was great too. The boat was in good shape, as described, and worked very well through our five day stay, using it daily. The rental and return process was simple but thorough to ensure our confidence through the rental process (it didn't feel shady at all). The ease with which we picked up the boat, received our training, and returned the boat was great. Doug and Jamie were both available if we had any issues through our stay (we didn't). Price was decent, but I do believe you get what you pay for with things like this, so we didn't mind the pricing. Overall, very good experience with equipment, customer service, and overall satisfaction with our rental. I would highly recommend Captain Mannis for a boat rental and will use them again if/when we're in the FM area.

Overall great experience! Easy pickup, excellent orientation ride that makes you comfortable operating the boat in the area. Clean, well maintained boat. All the safety equipment and insurance you would need including sea tow. Optional pick up service for an additional charge is well worth it! Had a great experience and would definitely use Captain Mannis again!!
