with great surprise, during my trip to the USA I found this fantastic kitesurfing equipment shop in Long Beach. I was able to easily test different sails and in the end I bought the Gin Marabou V2 LIMITED EDITION at a very special price. The staff was really professional and very knowledgeable, especially the owner, an Italian-American full of energy and a unique beauty as well as very nice. It's a shame to have to return to Italy. I would have gladly stayed to follow one of their refresher courses together with their entire fantastic team.

I took the beginner's class for Kite surfing with GP. GP is a great instructor and very professional. I enjoyed each and every minute during my course. I recommend him for sure. Also, Captain Kirk's team (Sabrina) is very knowledgeable and cooperative. Good experience overall.

Amazing school to learn kitesurfing!! GP and Sabrina always very helpful on the beach even when you are not their student. GP best teacher you can find in Belmont Shore ! Always very involved in your learning, always funny and cool to be around . Highly recommend!

Great stuff, I took a wing foil curse. the instructor was great, right to the point. Took care of me and made sure I have the right tools to start wing sailing/ foiling.(still not sure the correct name)

Came back for buying the equipment ,2 weeks later, they were very polite and did not try to make the sale just educating me what is the right equipment for Belmont shore. I felt very comfortable and bought 2 wing foils. without asking the owner work out a great deal for me hassle free. (better than expected …ha ha and I’m a pretty educated shopper, I came to the store ready knowing the market pricing). I strongly recommend doing business with them. such a good feeling that I’m here writing this review. A true small business with the focus on the customer thank you

Wonderful customer service! We had to cancel twice unfortunately due to a medical reason and my car breaking down. She was so accommodating and able to reschedule and refund us. Next time I'm in town, I will definitely try to schedule a windsurfing lesson here!

Captain Kirk's makes the sport of kiteboarding fun, safe, and accessible to riders of all levels. Once I scheduled my lesson thru their site, I was immediately contacted by staff member/owner Sabrina, who got a sense of my skill level and comfort zone. Until I began my lesson, the staff was in constant contact with me about gear preparation, wind forecasts, meeting locations, etc...

My lesson was fun, engaging, and comfortable. My instructor, GP, was enthusiastic and professional while always keeping the focus on me as the student. In the two hours I was there, I learned how to launch my kite, do a water start, and even got some riding time in!

Regardless of your level, if you want to get into kiteboarding in a safe and fun way, go to Captain Kirk's. Can't wait to watch this sport grow!

I had the most wonderful time here. The people around are so nice. Yoga everyday at 8am was a huge bonus. Snorkel gear,sup,kayaks,and kite lesson's. Even if your not an active go getter it is just a great place to relax,very safe, great views from the bar,and captains deck. Great breakfast!!!!
