I am updating my prior review.

My original post is below. I was in contact with regional manager named Gil Stone. He was a pleasure to work with to resolve the issue listed below. The whole process took a few weeks to resolve because I was super busy, but he took the time to listen to my concerns. He also shared with me that not all issues have a "one size fits all" resolution. (Is that a quirky shoe reference?) He agreed that I should have received more life from my purchase and did what was fair to both myself and his organization.

I went in to the store and it was obvious the communication from upper management to the team on the store front was on point. Evelyn assisted me, heard what I was looking for in a work shoe. She took the time to measure my feet and even ordered a couple options for me to be delivered to her store so I could make the best decision for my replacement pair. I never felt rushed nor made to feel as if my concern was unjustified. Truly felt as if they appreciated my business.

The shoes that were ordered arrived two days ahead of the quote from Evelyn which was over the top. So today, I came in and a lovely gal assisted me in choosing the best fit for my work environment and my personal style. I forgot her name, but she was very friendly and assisted me with great service. She even helped me make a purchase for some insoles (which were not cheap, but came highly recommended for long hours walking on concrete).

I will say, I had an initial salt in the mouth but Gil, Evelyn and the lady today really changed it around for me.

After my next 600 miles at work I will return to buy my next pair bc they took the time to ensure I felt heard and did the right thing to resolve my prior issues with the keen boots.

Good job bootworld! See u in 6 months for a new pair.

Overall had a decent experience. Spent $150 on a pair of KEEN brand work boots. The shoes were faulty and started to rip at the seams in under three months. I inquired about the one year manufacturer warranty for the KEEN boots and found out boot world only honors that warranty for sixty days and the shoes must not have been worn. Lmao ? ?

Called the manufacturer and found out they wouldn't honor the one year warranty because Boot World is not on their authorized retailer list. So out $150.

My CSR Yasmine listened to what I was looking for, made a few recommendations & then measured my foot to ensure the best fit. I walked out with new Merrell hiking boots & also received a military discount. Quality boots that will do the job & look & fit great!

I stopped in to get a pair of work boots and Stephanie was right there to greet me and help out. I was impressed with her knowledge and professionalism, and grateful for her friendly nature. I even allowed her to talk me into getting some expensive socks lol
Shout out to Maxi at the counter as well. She was proficient and friendly. I always appreciate a little friendly banter when I’m out & about. Thanks ladies, and thank you Boot World, the ONLY place I get my work boots. Period.

I recently went in on Saturday and the person assisting me was Melody S. She was extremely rude to me. She did not smile and ignored me when I was talking to her. She treated me like I was a bothersome. I left feeling really uncomfortable.

Update: I tried calling and emailing the contact info from Yolanda below. No response.

Update: Gil called me and listened and was apologetic. Thank you for taking time to hear me out.

Outstanding service. Chris was a big help in the selection of my work boots. I forgot to get some needed paperwork for my job. When I called the store Morgan was kind enough to take care of it for me.

Had a very positive experience at this boot store. My salesperson Morgan was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and very patient in assisting me to select the proper boots for my work environment. She measured my feet, brought out several options, and even recommended a great arch support insole and leather conditioner. Several models were on sale. Convenient location. Highly recommend.
