We booked this excursion last minute. We wanted to enjoy a day on lake placid since the weather was so beautiful. Wes has a beautiful boat. He was able to provide some information on some of the houses and businesses on the lake. He let the kids jump off the boat in the lake and play a while. He was very welcoming. Our family had a good time on the lake

Was looking for a guided tour on Lake Placid and found ADK, very happy I did. Wes answered my call and we were in the water in literally 15 min! It was a great experience from the phone call to getting back in the car. Wes was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the lake, it didn’t feel like it was his “job” but his passion to intimately know the lake, and know it well. Would highly recommend using ADK and Wes if you’re looking for a nice cruise around the lake or water sports in the summer. Great guide, cool and comfortable boat, worth every bit.

We had the most fun time with Wes and Gavin on a waterski session. They are really knowledgeable in the sport and had a really nice conversation during the trip. 100% recommended experience when in LP!

Booked last minute for a wakesurfing trip with Wes. Boat was amazing, brand new and he was a fantastic instructor. Had us up and riding very quickly! He also gave us tons of great reccomendations in the area. Well worth booking when in lake placid!
