If you want to be able to see the shine on your shoes, all the way from the moon...this is the place to go. Mr. Nash made my dad's Luchese boots and dress shoes sparkle like they were dipped in butter. The service is outstanding. I also got a history lesson, art, and artifact show while waiting. This place is an awesome gem and piece of Houston's history.

Mr. Shines greeted me with a smile and welcomed me to his establishment. I dropped off my kids boots. These boots were dry and did not look good at all. I read reviews and decided to try Mr. Shines. I picked up the next day as promised and I was amazed!! I could not believe how they looked. I wish I would of taken a before and after for this post. But here is the after. He also does shoe and handbag repairs. I really enjoyed his small tour of his establishment that he gave me. To be honest I felt my money was well worth it since it goes to the little guy in a big business world. Give him a try and you won't be disappointed.

The guy does good work, just more expensive than I think it's worth. $20 before tip for a simple shoe shine is overcharging in my opinion. If cheaper, I would probably take my dress shoes here regularly but not at that price. Might return for a once "in a blue moon" shoe repair but that's it

Mr. Nash got my boots looking like brand new with new soles and a shine! He even made my scuffed up toe on my brown boots look good!They are ready for some dancing and Rodeo season! Best thing is they were ready 5 days before he said they would be! They were ready in one week! Pro tip: Make sure to take cash (or check) when you drop your shoes off!

Excellent experience! This place has a 5 star rating for a reason! My boots were in bad condition so I brought them to Mr. Nash (who has been in business for over 30 years) hoping that he could shine them up and make them look wearable again. I was considering tossing them out but to my surprise, I picked them up a couple hours late (on a busy Friday afternoon to say the least) and they seriously look brand new! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to make their boots look great.
