We came to South Haven with 11 people 4 adults and 7 kids for the Holiday weekend and for my son's Birthday on the 3rd. We rented a 4 seater and a 8 seater to fit all of us. The start was a little rocky with the 8 seater had a little issue. But the Owner quickly fixed one little problem and we were up and running in no time! The Owners were more than accommodating and so very personable to our needs. We enjoyed our stay and the golf carts made it more enjoyable. We highly recommend Blue Water Boat Rental South Haven?❤️?

The attendant was very knowledgeable and kind. He started off our trip with everyone smiling, a big thank you to Zach for all his help. The boat was safe and fun except when my dad, who was piloting the boat, hit the waves in a way that drenched everyone. The lake was beautiful and was just the trick our trip needed.

The service was amazing, the employees were extremely helpful and friendly, and when they started talking about repeat customers, I just knew that if my family and I ever rented another boat to take out on Lake Michigan from South Haven, Michigan again, than we would be going with Blue Water Boat Rentals again!!!!!!!!!!!

We rented the Funship for a bachlorette party and (other than the water being chilly) we had a great time. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Zane, our captain, was super chill. Highly recommend.

We had a blast! They upgraded our boat since no one was using it after us for the day. They were very kind. Since it took a minute to go through the safety/directions they started our allotted time after we were ready to take off which I thought was great. A friend lost some sunglasses and they held onto them for us, we’re very communicative, etc.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT make advance reservations with Blue Water Boat Rentals!!! I reserved a pontoon with a tube for 4 hours at a cost of $735.00. The day of our reservation was windy with whitecaps on Lake Michigan so we were not allowed on the lake. No one at fault, just Mother Nature's will. I was willing to forfeit some of the cost for the mere fact that they had held a boat for us, and had staff on site to help. But instead of being refunded, the only alternative was a credit for future use ( I don't live in the area and would never use it) OR a 2-hour 'river cruise' which is not at all the same experience as it is a NO WAKE zone the entire length. I ended up paying over $500 for absolutely nothing! The young man at the rental area was so kind and helpful, but unfortunately it was not his call to make. I would encourage anyone making an advance reservation to be prepared for this scenario.

The staff at Blue Water Boat rentals was fantastic! The rental itself was as expected. However, we were not prepared for the choppy water of Lake Michigan and being very novice boaters, we were not comfortable driving the pontoon rental on the lake. We felt tossed around like a tin can on the waves! Some instruction on how to safely navigate the waves would have been appreciated. That being said, I’m really just leaving this review to warn others - if you aren’t a semi-experienced boater, you’d be better off taking a chartered boat on Lake Michigan or getting your own rental on an inland lake!

We rented a pontoon boat from Blue Water Boat Rentals on a family vacation this July. The day we had originally scheduled to have the boat was going to be rainy and rough waters. Amanda called me a day prior to explain we may be cancelled. She offered the next day to us and we could not have been more pleased. It turned out the day we had chosen had high winds, thunder, lightning and heavy rains. The following day was beautiful! The people at Blue Waters were great to deal with and I would highly recommend them!!
