This pub was a nice pit stop. We weren’t thrilled with one of the staff members after receiving a frosty reception but the other staff members seemed nice. We had the pizza here, one spicy chicken and one meat feast. They were very filling but I personally found it a bit lacklustre. The atmosphere and decor was very nice and gave a good ambiance.

The food is nice and the bar is also nice. The food appears to have been cooked to order and was fresh and tasty. It took too long to get served though which was a shame really. I've never eaten here before and the waitress was excellent and works so hard.
Glad we went. It's just down the road from my son's uni at Lancaster. Good location.

Great place for Sunday lunch whilst the weather is wet and dreary outside. For the price paid, the plate is well filled and you will be stuffed at the end (Gammon in the photo but also had Roast of the Day (Turkey) and that was the same). Managed to get a table without booking, but to avoid disappointment I would book ahead. EV charging is available in the car park (hidden at the end of the first row, on the left when entering car park) but was unavailable on the Fuuse app.

A lovely pub, mix of very family friendly area, more casual drinking and a semi Lounge area for those that remember them. All in all, a great mix of different drinking areas. Lovely friendly staff, good selection of Ale. We also had food, good selection of pub favourites all at a reasonable price, ours was very tasty. Our crazy Border Collie Daisy was also very welcome – what a lovely local pub, little sad we were only passing through.

The pub has a lot of nice and cozy spaces to sit at, it feels comfy.
Portions are really generous! The food is pretty good. It is good value for the price. Overall, I quite enjoy this place. The waitresses were also very kind.

Gorgeous building, light and airy with lots of room. Dog friendly as well with water and treats and a warm welcome the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful . The food was prepared quickly and very tasty
