We had a fabulous experience renting a boat from Woody's! It was our first time, and we reserved one to witness the eclipse in all its beauty on the lake. Everything was great! Check-in for the boat was a breeze, they made it a great experience and took the time to answer our questions. We were able to thoroughly enjoy the totality of the eclipse on the water and it was truly incredible. Thank you, Woody's On The Lake, for a fantastic experience!

Best birthday ever!! All around great service and 100% would recommend! Woody is awesome and we were able to float, drink, and have burgers made for us! What more could you ask for! Best boat barge ever!!!!

Update to our first review since I can’t review Woodys again ?
Adventure Ladies went again last night on the Texan - there were 24 of us ?

⚓️ Woody's On The Lake and crew were FANTASTIC!
? They grilled our dinner while we floated, tossed drinks to us so we didn’t have to get out, took photos.

?. This was seriously one of the most fun parties I have been to and we will definitely do it again!

The captain (Woody) took us to a great spot for floating, dancing and eating for 3 hours. He took pictures for us and helped get drinks so we wouldn’t have to get out of the water.

The boat is really big and has a bathroom. The sound system was fun too and we connected our phones for just the right music.

There’s a grill you can use if you want to cook but we just brought snacks this time.
The only compliant from the ladies was 3 hours was not enough time!

Next time we will do 6 hours.
The rental rate is great for a group and includes the captain and another helper, ice, water.

Great place to work, fish, and swim. The swimming area is well marked, and has soft silty mud without moss or deadwood, and a restroom without a long walk. Parking is easy, and there's a great big yard for family BBQs and shade tents, ball games, volleyball (sand courts and nets). Pet dogs are welcome. Woodys grill and bar has great hamburgers and delicious country fries.

We rented a boat on July 3rd for the next day. We didn't get the boat we wanted but we got refunded the difference and understood the circumstances at hand. The staff were very helpful, polite and professional. I would recommend this place.

Lake Lavon is a beautiful lake with an untouched feel. The people at Woodys are the best part. Everything is done with a calm professionalism. I highly recommend them if you are looking to rent a boat. Fair prices and great people, I'll be back.

We rented three pontoons from Woody's On the Lake over the weekend. The whole experience was great. Woody's crew was very nice and professional. Their boats were clean and ready for us when we arrived. I am a returning customer and recommend them to anyone who would like to spend fun time on Lake Lavon!

I highly recommend Woody's. The boat was clean, in good running order and ready when I arrived. The overview of the boat was informative and helpful. The manager was pleasant. We rented a pontoon boat and had five people and we were very comfortable.
