Summer camp has been really fun for my 11 y/o and they have a nice patio with a breeze so you can sit and watch. Level of instruction has varied greatly depending on who’s working, but my daughter has gotten the hang of it just from a week of practice. They also go on the inflatable floating playground every day and it looks like so much fun! We will be coming back for more.

Soooo fun!! My boyfriend and I went to the adult only night and we had a great time! It is definitely harder than it looks but so worth it! The bar is right next to it as well so we were able to take a break, get some drinks and go back out. It was a great time and I would highly recommend!

It’s a nice place with very good experience, The staff staff training new clients seems nice and worn give up till the clients are happy and actually able to surf. Not the same case with the girls working inside the shop. They either didn’t help or don’t really understand everything about wakeboards. My main issue with the park is the dirty water that don’t seem to ever be changed or recycled. The water is stinky (not sure if it’s coz of the chemicals they might be using) but it’s a great turn off. You can smell the stench of it from meters away from the main hydrous park.

North Texas Adventure Ladies

I think this is my 1st negative post about one of our adventures.….

On Saturday we went to Hydrous - Lake Lewisville for a private 2 hour wakeboarding class. We were supposed to be in a private training area with a coach for 2 hours.

We arrived and a nice young man helped us get set up with life jackets, boards and helmets. He then took us to a shelter area by the lake.

We were by ourselves for a few minutes while he very briefly went over how to wakeboard.

The line was getting longer to get on the cables so we just followed along not really knowing what we were doing.

We were instructed a little more as we were waiting for our turn to connect to the cable and the other line of mostly very experienced guys were within a couple feet of us.

The 1st few of us that went out did not know what to do when we fell. It was a little scary floating around in the lake trying to get back to shore with guys zipping around.

The people that work there are very nice but I am disappointed we did not get the experience we paid for. Some of the ladies only tried it a couple times and one just left as we got started.

It was a lot more difficult than we imagined but could possibly have been made a little easier with the right instruction.

It was an adventure but not one I will be planning again for our group.

Corbin is absolutely amazing at the obstacle course. I have been trying to face my fear of water activities and unfortunately I fell and couldn’t get myself back up. He kindly assisted me and ultimately saved my life. You are truly a blessing & I thank you WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGAIN !

You guys really need to speed the cable up. You’re going to run off the people who actually ride “because we want new people to get into the sport.” That’s fine but the kids on knee boards aren’t your core customer.
You need to maintain your rails and reset them. This place used to be great but the lack of maintenance is something you should be embarrassed of. Also 2 hour cable set should start from the moment you buy your pass like every other cable in the country. You’re not so poorly staffed that you can’t accommodate this. Do better hydrous!

It was hot; burned my feet. Wasn't even a life guard on the set. Multiple kids got stuck and it was hard to get up in places. The rules say don't go under the course but if you got stuck in places there was no other choice then to go under or had someone pull you up.

Wonderful experience, We went there as a group of 10 and the aqua park is lovely. Also massive Shout-out to Lucas, our go pro fell into the water and He helped us retrieve it. What a wonderful young man. We highly appreciate the help.
