First timer here and we will definitely be back. As soon as we entered the park, everyone was so kind and helpful. Other guests have common courtesy and it's not overly crowded. The burgers are delicious and the park itself is clean.

Waco Surf offers an incredible experience for both beginners and seasoned surfers. The wave technology provides consistent, perfectly formed waves, making it easy to practice and improve skills. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to offer guidance and tips. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, perfect for a fun day out with friends or family. Facilities are clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience. Whether you’re looking to catch some waves or simply enjoy the vibe, Waco Surf is definitely worth a visit!

It was a blast!!! Been on the bucket list for awhile and we finally made it out. Next time we’ll bring chairs, a canopy, and a better packed cooler so we can spend the entire day at the “beach” by the slides. The lazy river was a hit with all of us.

Only complaint would be the lack of guidance from the front desk. When we checked in(bought tickets online) they just gave us our wristbands and went back to chatting with other employees. So we just wondered off and looked for what we thought would be the start of the lazy river and luckily guessed correctly.

Came here with a buddy last week, and we had a blast. We went to the six flags water park in Ft Worth this week, and the stark difference really made me appreciate Waco Surf. The Waco Surf Attendants/life guards are way more attentive and competent. The staff are friendlier and more helpful. The facilities are nicer. While there are fewer slides, they're way (like, not even close) more fun, and for me, a much much better deal. We got a cabin, which makes everything that much more affordable, which is so nice. I cannot recommend Waco Surf enough, and I highly recommend staying at the cabins/hotel if you're not local, you won't regret it!

A true surf ranch in the middle of Texas. This was our first visit so we decided to try a beginner session. The waves were very predictable and both, my son and I could quickly progress. Overall, I think this spot is an excellent choice not only to learn surfing, but also to improve your skills with relative ease. Although I am more a long board guy, I cannot wait to go back and try some different boards that they have for rent there.

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to formally express my outrage regarding the abysmal experience I had during my stay at your property from May 15–18. Despite your claims of being under new ownership, the conditions I endured were unacceptable, and your repeated failures to follow through on promises only add insult to injury.

Upon arrival late on May 15, I spent nearly two hours making phone calls to get into my cabin, as the provided code didn’t work. Finally, someone arrived at 1 a.m. to unlock the door. What greeted me was a nightmare: dead bees everywhere, no blinds or shades on the windows, and an unclean comforter that clearly hadn’t been washed in ages.

I was told the cabin would have a full-size fridge and freezer, yet there was only a tiny mini-fridge that could barely hold anything. Your listing also promised working Wi-Fi and TV, but neither worked the entire time I was there, despite a staff member spending nearly an hour trying to fix it.

The conditions didn’t stop there. The fan made a noise like a jet engine, keeping me awake. I had to hang up sheets for privacy and to block the early morning sun because no shades were provided. The lazy river was closed for my entire stay due to mud, and two wakeboarding sessions I paid for were canceled due to weather, with promises of reimbursement that have still not been fulfilled.

Your staff and management were indifferent at best. When I spoke with your manager, he made endless excuses about being under new ownership and offered no meaningful solutions. The general attitude of the staff was dismissive and apathetic, despite the property being practically empty during my stay.

Your prices are absurdly inflated for the poor quality of your accommodations and services. Charging $175 a night for a cabin in such a state is highway robbery, and $4 for a can of beer is an insult to your guests.

This was supposed to be a getaway to enjoy wakeboarding and relaxation, yet it turned into a frustrating ordeal with empty promises and substandard conditions. Waco, Texas, and your establishment, in particular, have proven to be a complete joke.

I demand reimbursement for the two canceled wakeboarding sessions as promised and a partial refund for my stay due to the numerous issues I endured. If this matter is not addressed promptly, I will escalate my complaint through reviews on every major platform and consumer protection agencies.

Jordan, you never followed through and I gave you months to make it right.

Jay, the instructor, was awesome and is experienced: Listen to him, and you'll actually get up!
If you're thinking about taking surfing lessons, you will discover that you absolutely have to have a reservation. From what I understand, they are open until Christmas Eve, and the crowd dies off after August. When the weather is hot, so is the water; stay hydrated!
The water slides are more than you would expect. I went off the second highest one and completely wiped out. The second highest one actually launches you the farthest in the air. The highest one launches you the longest distance. I have been sore for almost a week!
There is nothing that's really middle of the road activity wise. It's either the pool and lazy river or learning to surf, wakeboarding, and going down slides.
I'm not a lazy river guy, but those who are tell me it is fantastic and very long. You will have to get out to get a beverage

Had a good time! Would recommend drilling holes in the picnic tables and offering large umbrellas as a rental option for hot summer days. 🙂
