Sehr nette Mitarbeiter!

Our family recently stayed at the Murphy KOA, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly staff (Dee, Lisa, Kayla) who were eager to help and ensured our experience would be enjoyable.

The campsite itself is beautifully maintained. The amenities were top-notch—clean restrooms, well-maintained showers. We also appreciated the picnic tables and fire pits at each site, which made it easy to enjoy outdoor cooking and cozy evenings by the fire.

The location is stunning, surrounded by the river, which we enjoyed tubing and a close drive to a few waterfalls- great for easy hiking, tubing and picnics!

It was Labor Day weekend and this KOA had 3 nights of live music, 3 bounce houses and food trucks. It kept the kids and adults fully entertained!

Whether you're looking for a peaceful getaway or a base for outdoor adventure, this campsite has it all. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to return. Five stars all the way!

Just spent a week here. It was awesome. Great spot along the water. Bathrooms were clean and awesome shower in the ladies. Staff was awesome and friendly. They have a game room available and events for kids. Painting pumpkins during my stay. For Adults, the casino is next door. I will definitely come back again.

This RV resort/campground is just stunning! So glad we came across this place. And didn't want to leave! And my fur babies SO enjoyed it! Beautiful location, the river that runs along the grounds makes it all the more peaceful, enjoyable and relaxing. The trees give it just enough shade to keep it cool. The dog park is the largest, most open park I've seen. So much room to run! And so clean! All of the workers, D, Ethan, Kayla and the woman in the office (so sorry i forgot the name!) are ALL so, extremely kind, friendly and hospitable! Always working to keep this place looking its best and making sure all guests are happy. Definitely going to miss this place, but we will definitely be returning! Thanks to all there for making our stay memorable! ?

Dee and the entire staff were extremely helpful, nice, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. We stayed in two riverfront RV campsites (38 and 39) and also we had family in one of the cabins. It was a special birthday weekend with family and friends and we could not have been more pleased with the outcome. They are in the process of upgrading cabins, eventual new RV concrete slabs, plus many more upgrades we hear. We cannot wait to return to see Dee and the gang, as well as to see all the improvements which we know will be awesome!
We will see you again for sure 🙂

All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The bath houses are kept very clean. It is a small campground which is great if you have kids who like to be kids at camp. Dog friendly with a dog park. There is a playground, inground pool, live bands, game room, a shallow river for tubing. We enjoyed our stay, its one of our favorite campgrounds! Beautiful views!

We’ve been camping here for years and come up 3 times a year since we have a bigger camper now. Dee is amazing and we absolutely love her and thank her for all she does. I only have 2 complaints from the last time we stayed. One is that we were going to be charged $10 for my daughter and her friend to come up to get something that my daughter forgot to get before I had left. I could see paying that if they were coming and staying the night but we weren’t paying $10 for them to stay an hour and a half maybe 2 hours. We have never been charged for visitors. We ended up having to meet them down in Nantahala. The second is something I know they had no control over, it was a tree had fallen across the river. I love to fish down there and our dogs LOVE. the river so hopefully they’re able to get someone to come in and get it out by the next time we come up. We will definitely be back because we love it and having been camping for years here.
